The Heart Behind Wag in Swag
Five years ago, on April 16, my life changed in the most unexpected way.
I met Bubble when she was a stray Indie dog on the streets of India. Back then, it was just the two of us. I was single, finding my way through life, and she became my constant, my comfort, my responsibility, my joy. From that day on, we chose each other.
Bubble didn’t just come into my life; she reshaped it. She taught me patience, unconditional love, and the quiet kind of happiness that comes from caring for someone who asks for nothing but your presence.
Over time, life grew. I met my husband, and Bubble approved of him too. She welcomed him into our little world, and just like that, we became a family. When I got married, I made a custom Indian outfit just for her, because she wasn’t just attending the wedding — she was part of it.
I always loved creating things for Bubble. Bandanas, little accessories, festive outfits. each piece was handmade with love, never imagining that one day those creations would turn into something bigger.
Today, Bubble lives with us in the US, safe, cherished, and living a life every dog deserves. But her journey never lets me forget where she came from.
There are still millions of dogs on the streets of India who don’t get two meals a day, basic medical care, or the chance to be loved the way Bubble is. Wag in Swag was born from that truth.
This brand is my way of honoring her and giving back.
Every bandana, every embroidered birthday piece, every custom creation carries Bubble’s spirit: love, resilience, warmth, and purpose. And with 5% of every sale going towards the welfare of street dogs, your purchase becomes part of a larger story — one of hope, compassion, and second chances.
Wag in Swag isn’t just about style.
It’s about love that began on the streets, walked into my heart, and continues to ripple outward — one paw at a time.
